Hammoon Land Tax Names of Proprietors

Although a tax was charged on the value of land throughout most of the 18th and 19th century, the surviving records for Dorset cover the period 1780 to 1836. I have only transcribed the records for every tenth year. The tithe map and apportionments circa 1840 provide further details plus a map (these are held at the Dorset Record Office).
